Bob Singha is a social entrepreneur, master coach, consultant and an experienced trainer. Bob is internationally recognised as a leader in the field of young peoples personal and community development.

He currently serves as the CEO/ Director of Coaching for the Community Coaching Academy. The CCA, via a mix of training, coaching, mentoring and consultancy empowers communities to create, operate and realise their own sustainable coaching services. Helping communities design, develop and deliver solutions to their own challenges.

Bob was the co-founder of the Youth Coaching Academy and was Director until 2007. He co-wrote, designed and trained on the world’s first fully accredited Youth Coaching Courses and helped to inspired a whole new field of coaching and personal development.

Before that he was part of Involve’s senior management team where he designed and managed many innovative projects some of which are now regarded as international best practice. At the charity, Bob developed and managed innovative community projects that supported young people and communities labelled “hard to reach, excluded, disengaged, disruptive, violent, racist, criminal, vulnerable, or anti social”. Bob pioneered support projects that blended young peoples personal and community development with cultural arts such as graffiti, digital music and video production. Training and coaching young people ‘at risk’. Enabling, inspiring and empowering them to run their own local support services which provided outreach youth work, school workshops and cultural art/ engagement activities.

As a coaching and development consultant, Bob has consulted for a diverse range of organisations including one the world’s oldest children’s charities, an international human rights organisation, the UK government – Department Children Schools and Families (DCSF) and a multi million pound trading company. Bob has trained teams of specialist mentors who work with young people involved in at risk from serious youth violence. He has a reputation of translating complex theories and concepts, into stories and models that are easy to understand and implement. Bob has forged a reputation based on quality, innovation, humour and downright stubbornness.

Bob is a passionate speaker on and advocate for quality youth support services. He has become a leading authority on youth leadership, youth mentoring, youth coaching and the use of digital communication and personal development tools in community projects.

In 2011 Bob was recognised by the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) for his “groundbreaking work with young people and commitment to reach disadvantaged communities” and invited to join the RSA fellowship.

Bob has helped to grow various community development and youth leadership organisations over the years and is the now host the podcast I Love Youth Work where he shares what he has learnt and interviews leaders in the field.

Bob is a founding member of the Recovery Coaching Foundation advisory board and also a Advisory board member for Spark Inside.

A proud descendent of the Sangha family of Punjab- India, Bob is a proud Londoner. A city where he was born, where he grew up and where he stills lives and works from.
